Autumn seems to be with us all a sudden and many of us are feeling the chill. A huge advantage of choosing shutters is the louvres on shutters close ‘up’ rather than ‘down’, so any heat generated from your central heating is thrown back into the room. This is an especially useful element in north facing homes or if you just have draughty windows. Most people tell us they need to adjust or switch the heating down after shutters have been fitted, as the room is so much warmer.
