Keeping the heat in this October

With temperatures dropping this week, many of us are turning on or up the heating and thinking about what our options are for keeping your home warm.

For north facing homes or if you just have old or draughty windows, then shutters can be an ideal choice. Most people tell us they need to adjust or switch the heating down after shutters have been fitted, as the room is so much warmer.

The louvres on shutters close ‘up’ rather than ‘down’ so any heat generated from your central heating radiators is thrown back into the room.
